What does it mean to do extraordinary things for God? Well my first thought is to look at those men and women in the bible whom God used in these ways… Measure up their character and see where I line up
David=murderer, adulteror, shepherd, warrior, king… He lived a crazy life… He went through the valleys and at times found himself on the hilltops but one thing remained…”he was a man after Gods on heart.”
what does that mean? A man after Gods heart? In the literal sense it seems ridiculous to think that God has a heart, it equates Him to me and you… Does God have a physical heart or do we say that so we may understand Him in our own finite way? I don’t know… But to say that God has a heart and to be a man or woman who strives after His own heart would possibly mean that we would want to understand the great depth of God.
Even though this isn’t plausible maybe the action of  striving towards it makes us extraordinary. It must take one through that process of self awareness that we are nothing outside of Him… Our very being is in Him.
So maybe to be extraordinary begins with humility… Right understanding of who I am in light of a great ans everlasting God. 
I’m willing to try, I’m willing to step out… Thank you God for I am nothing without you, make this prayer real to me. Amen
