InChrist
I wanted a place to be honest, to say whats on the heart, and to put it out there so to speak, without the hesitation of people knowing who I am. Thanks for listening

I’ve been struggling lately with good sleep… what does that mean? I’m glad you asked. I wake up 6-8 times a night, toss around, and don’t seem to get comfortable. Last night however I slept amazing. Which is great considering I had a cute little friend stay over…(I love entertaining, but the introvert side of me beckons me to be away) I woke up so refreshed….made breakfast, took a shower, packed, loaded the bikes onto my car, got my cat food set outside, and got her to school on time…8:12am. What school starts at 8:12…this one apparently.

In the middle of all the rush i forgot something….I forgot to take the time to pray, to seek Christ’s face for strength for today, and to hear from Him through His word. One may look at my morning as a success but without the power of Christ, without the sitting at his feet, I feel a little empty. I miss Him….My soul cries out to His, and I cannot stop praying Psalms 103!!!

Psalm 103

Bless the LORD, O My Soul
Of David.

1Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2Bless the LORD, O my soul,
andforget not all his benefits,
3whoforgives all your iniquity,
whoheals all your diseases,
4whoredeems your life from the pit,
whocrowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6The LORD worksrighteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
7He made known hisways to Moses,
his acts to the people of Israel.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9He will not always chide,
nor will hekeep his anger forever.
10He does not deal with usaccording to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11Foras high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love
towardthose who fear him;
12as far as the east is from the west,
so far does heremove our transgressions from us.
13As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the LORD shows compassionto those who fear him.
14For he knows our frame;
heremembers that we are dust.

15As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes likea flower of the field;
16for the wind passes over it, andit is gone,
andits place knows it no more.
17But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness tochildren’s children,
18to those whokeep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
19The LORD hasestablished his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.

20Bless the LORD, O youhis angels,
youmighty ones whodo his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21Bless the LORD, all hishosts,
hisministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the LORD, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the LORD, O my soul!

This morning I woke up to a new soul beat… I desired to be with Him, not out of me knowing I need Him, not out of guilt, not out of obligation but out of desire. I wanted to wake up and be with Him. I am falling in love with Jesus, maybe for the first time ever. To love Him not because what He does for me, but simply because of who He is. God is truly good all the Time!
