InChrist
I wanted a place to be honest, to say whats on the heart, and to put it out there so to speak, without the hesitation of people knowing who I am. Thanks for listening

Letting it all go. No turning back. My body is a temple. Do it for Jesus. Bought by the blood of Jesus. Living a disciplined life. Absolute Surrender

I grew up playing sports. I remember when I would get home from school I couldn’t wait to work on my game. Basketball- dribbling drills, shooting drills, balance drills. Softball- hitting drills, grounding drills, technique drills… I love drills. Why? Because as I got better and better at the drills the game got easier. Not that I perfected every shot, switch over, layup, hit, groundball… it was more that I didnt’ need to think. I began to respond to the game. Mastering the Drills=Responding well to the Game. I love sports. Mainly the discipline of it. Why do I share this with you? Because I equate it to my relationship with the Lord.

I’m running the race to receive the prize. If this is true I need to master the drills. I need to beat my body into submission. I need to be disciplined.

Drill=Response

  1. Prayer=Walk in prayer moment by moment
  2. Read the Word=So the Holy Spirit Can direct you, and bring it out when it’s the right timing
  3. Sit at His feet=Learn to listen
  4. My Body is a temple=Have the energy He’s asking of You.
  5. Love=So my joy will be made complete.

These are my drills, and I’m ready to run the race. I’m ready to live a disciplined life. He died for me, He loved me that much, why wouldn’t I give my life back to Him who gives life?

God take over. Absolute Surrender of my desires, I lay them at your feet. I will allow peace to be the meter in which I hear from You.

Praise the Lord.
