InChrist
I wanted a place to be honest, to say whats on the heart, and to put it out there so to speak, without the hesitation of people knowing who I am. Thanks for listening

These two go hand in hand. You cannot say “I have faith” and then lack the obedience to act upon it. You cannot say I am obedient, and not walk out in faith, or the chances are you really are not allowing God to use you, and probably not being obedient.

If you’re not growing your dying! It is really that simple. It’s not a matter of staying stagnant, but more of a matter of going forward. It has to be. It’s a race after all right? To just stop in the middle of a race and say you are just stopping for now but not getting behind in the race is ludicrous. In the same way, we continually run towards Christ.

I had a great conversation with a dear friend this afternoon. He asked “How do you know when God speaks to you? Some people say that they ‘hear’ from God while others, like you Christin, say that it’s a matter of peace, that determines what you do.”

The truth is God speaks to us all differently through the agent of the Holy Spirit. If the bible says one of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit is that He as person is a gentleman, than it is fair to inject that not every ‘woman’ is the same, and therefore each person must be approached, handled, and spoken to differently. Hearing from God therefore takes both faith and obedience. Faith because sometimes you just don’t know if God is talking to you about something in particular but unless you put it into action through obedience, you’ll never know. So what does this mean for me and you?

It means get out there, and try things. Search God in everything that you do! Don’t contradict God in action or deed…. but just DO SOMETHING!!! and through His gentle spirit He will let you know if it’s right or not. He will lovingly correct you if you’re wrong… he’s so sweet, so tender so loving that way. So get out there and do something
